RBC Canadian Open Betting: Johnson, Day Favored

As the Open Championship sinks in the rearview mirror, the PGA Tour runs into a higher gear and heads off to Glen Abbey Golf Course for the RBC Canadian Open. With only a handful of days to go for the PGA Championship, many elite golfers will look forward to gaining the momentum. Meanwhile, Linesmaker sizes the top contenders up for the event.

RBC Canadian Open Preview

Coming on the heels of a T22 at Royal Troon, defending champion Jason Day has compiled seven top 10s in his last nine starts. While Day looks to claw back the title, we are surely in for a dogfight between Johnson and Day this week. Standing strongly at +500 to win the 2016 RBC Canadian Open, you can never write Day off.

Coming off a ninth-place finish in the Open Championship which brought an end to his two-event winning streak, Dustin Johnson is pegged at the second spot in the World Golf rankings. Having notched up eight top-five finishes since February, Johnson looks primed for another exciting win, this time at Glen Abbey Golf Course. Listed at +550 to clinch the hugely coveted title, Johnson is a golfer to watch out for.

Although not packed with enough firepower to stack up against Jason or Day, Kuchar always looks promising with an unbeatable consistency, as demonstrated by five top-six finishes in his last six starts. Last year, Kuchar finished seventh at Glen Abbey. The golfer would look to better those stats this time around. Pegged at +1600 to seal a win here, Kuchar will set a big challenge for his elite rivals.

Apart from these top three golfers, Brandt Snedeker (+2500), Jim Furyk (+2900), and Emiliano Grillo (+3500) will come out hitting on all cylinders to pull off a win here.
