Capitals, Blackhawks Top NHL Betting Charts

While the week 23 of the 2015-16 NHL season hits the ground running, we have come to witness ups and downs in the performances of some of the best teams in the game. While the Anaheim Ducks bask in an eleven-game win streak, some stellar performances by the Washington Capitals over the season run still remains a talking point. Meanwhile, Linesmaker has brought forth an evaluation of how the top teams are edging closer to the ultimate prize.

NHL Betting Preview

Holding onto the numero uno spot in the Metropolitan Division standings, the Washington Capitals have notched up an above-par 48-13-4 record. Coming off a 2-1 win over the Bruins in a vaguely dramatic encounter, Washington is listed at 15/4 to clinch the coveted Lord Stanley Cup.

Topping the Central Division standings, the Chicago Blackhawks have a 41-21-5 record to their credit. The Blackhawks inflicted a 1-4 beating on Detroit in their last game and look set to claw back the NHL Championship with the odds of 5/1.

Perched atop the Pacific Division standings, the Anaheim Ducks have pushed their streak of wins to eleven games, after their 3-4 loss against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Coming off a 3-2 win over Los Angeles, the Ducks are set at 8/1 to sweep the elusive cup.

Taking the second spot in the Central Division standings, the Dallas Stars have tucked an exemplary 40-20-7 record under their belt. Moreover, Dallas is coming off two successive wins against New Jersey and Ottawa apiece, since a four-game losing streak. Tied at 8/1 with Anaheim, the Stars will aim to keep up the momentum.

Apart from these top NHL units, co-listed at 12/1, the Los Angeles Kings and the New York Rangers will aim to make amends for their substandard performance. Additionally, the Tampa Bay Lightning (13/1) and the St. Louis Blues (14/1) will endeavor to grab the attention as well.
