Dell Technologies Championship Betting: Reed the Value in Boston

Dell Championship

We step closer to the year’s final major, the PGA Dell Technologies Championship. Golf enthusiasts will look to keep a close watch on how the event passes off for their favorite players. The PGA tournament is likely to bring in some nerve-wrecking moments. Meanwhile, Linesmaker analyzes the chances of top contenders to clinch the title.

PGA Championship Preview

The event was first staged in 2003, and was originally known as the Deutsche Bank Championship, the Dell Technologies Championship is one of the youngest events on the PGA tour. Since 2007, it has been the second leg of the FedEx Cup playoff series and the field is made up entirely of players inside the top-100 on the FedEx Cup standings after last week’s Northern Trust. Only 96 out of the 100 make the line up this week with Henrik Stenson, Brandt Snedeker, J.B. Holmes and Scott Piercy all missing. Since its labor day in the States next weekend so as it does every year, the tournament runs from Friday to Monday. The tournament will take place in TPC Boston, Norton, Massachusetts.

Listed at (+800)to win the PGA Dell Technologies Championship, nothing seems to be stopping Jordan Spieth. He is likely to light up this place. TPC Boston has not necessarily been his favorite course, but he does have three top 30s including a T4 in the last four years. Coming next to Dustin Johnson, he has been following up with victories since the past few events. Pegged at (+700) to win the Championship, Johnson will aim to carry on with his strides.
Apart from these three elite golfers, Hideki Matsuyama (+1200), Rory Mcllroy (+1400), and Jon Rahm (+1600) will seek to put up a gritty show.
